Technical Support for your industrial cleaning Machines

Team Behind the Brand

SKF Cleaning specializes in technical support for industrial cleaning machines. We provide both on-site and workshop inspections, using detailed checklists to accurately diagnose faults. Once problem areas have been identified, we discuss the available repair options and provide transparent pricing before any work is carried out.

We understand that in the cleaning industry, factories, offices, and other facilities must be cleaned daily, often while working within tight budgets. Every cent counts, and machine maintenance can quickly become a significant overhead. To help manage costs, we source parts from reliable local suppliers and make use of refurbished components where appropriate. We also follow a repair-before-replace approach, repairing parts whenever possible instead of immediately replacing them, which helps extend equipment life and reduce expenses for our clients.

Our Ambition

In the cleaning industry, there is a wide variety of machine brands, and repairs often require dealing directly with each specific supplier. At SKF Cleaning, we service and repair all major brands of cleaning equipment, giving our customers the convenience of working with one reliable service provider for all their machines. This not only simplifies maintenance but also helps reduce costs, as each branded supplier typically charges different rates.

Because we work on all machines and operate in most areas daily, we are able to minimize or eliminate call-out fees. We repair leading brands such as Goscor, Nilfisk, Kärcher, Hako, and many others

Our community

Our Co-Founder, Stephen Fraser, began his career in the industrial cleaning industry at the age of 20. He quickly developed a passion for the field, recognizing the wide range of skills it requires — from electrical and mechanical work to the engineering aspects involved in repairing and maintaining cleaning equipment.

At SKF Cleaning, our mission is to invest in the next generation by creating career opportunities for young people and equipping them with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to succeed in this industry. We believe the cleaning industry will continue to grow. While technology may evolve, the core mechanical and operational principles of these machines remain consistent, creating long-term career stability.

We provide both on-site and in-house training to prepare our technicians for different working environments and service demands. In addition, we offer operator and staff training to ensure proper machine operation, daily maintenance, and care, helping to extend equipment lifespan and reduce costly breakdowns.

Benefits of a Maintenance

Having a maintenance agreement in place for your cleaning machine is an effective way to reduce long-term repair costs and ensure reliable operation. With a scheduled monthly inspection, a qualified technician will attend to the machine and perform a thorough check of all major components.

After each visit, you will receive a detailed report outlining the overall condition of the machine. Based on this assessment, we can recommend which parts may require repair or replacement. We also provide guidance on the expected lifespan of certain components, allowing you to plan ahead and avoid unexpected breakdowns.

A maintenance contract also includes the replacement of normal consumable items on the machine. This provides additional peace of mind, as worn components such as squeegees or brushes can be replaced during the contract period within the agreed quantities, ensuring the machine continues to operate efficiently.

Cleaning machines consist of many operational parts, and consistent maintenance plays an important role in keeping all components functioning correctly. Regular servicing not only improves performance but also extends the overall lifespan of the equipment.

Please see the maintenance packages we offer for more details.

Preventable Maintenance

Preventive maintenance can also be carried out by the operator using the machine. By performing simple daily checks, the operator can help ensure the machine remains in good working condition and prevent unnecessary damage or breakdowns.

Daily checks may include inspecting items such as the brushes, squeegees, filters, and ensuring that the machine is clean after use, and removing any dirt left in the tanks and washing the pipes for blockages. Monitoring these components regularly helps identify wear or potential problems early, allowing them to be addressed before they develop into larger repairs.

These small daily inspections assist with the overall performance of the machine and support the scheduled maintenance program, helping to extend the lifespan and reliability of the equipment.

Training

  • Basic operator training on the correct use of the machines
  • Refresher training for existing operators to ensure proper operation and care
